The 11th Japan-Korea-China Joint Workshop
On Neurobiology and Neuroinformatics
Joint Workshop on Neuroinformatics and Neurobiology started ten years ago to
serve for development of brain science through collaboration among Japan,
Korea and China. Another countries in Asia and pan pacific regions also
joined sometimes. The joint workshop is organized every year by one of
member countries, where 6 invited speakers from each country present
state-of-the-art research topics in the field of Neuroinformatics and
Neurobiology. Through frank and stimulating activities, NBNI has contributed
to development of not only academic outcome but also a transnational
community of research scientists over generations.
In Japan, the main sponsorship of RIKEN Brain Science Institute until 2010
has been inherited to Japanese Neural Network Society (JNNS) to promote the
activities of NBNI and also international activities of JNNS. Organizing
committee members are also renewed as shown in this web site.
Now NBNI-2011 is the first meeting under the sponsorship of JNNS. It is held
as a satellite meeting of JNNS annual meeting, OIST, Dec 15-17, 2011.
At this renewal.the workshop tries to put main focus on computational
neuroscience including theoretical and experimental approaches.
The organizing committee encourages participants of NBNI-2011 to join the
JNNS annual meeting.
The workshop is also open for JNNS participants with advanced registration.
We look forward to seeing you in OKINAWA to share enjoyable time.
With best regards,
